Santa Fe artist Kevin Patrick presents his latest collection of abstract paintings. The mixed media works are part of a common theme of vessels of varying shapes and colors.  Most are about 2' by 4'

I got a chance to work at John's gallery on Canyon Road here in Santa Fe this last summer.  It was a lot of fun and I hope to get to do more.

Here are some new works that are all about 2 feet by 4 feet.  I'm working on these for an upcoming show at John Ripple Gallery just before Christmas. 

I would like to thank all of you that helped with my first show with the Santa Fe Artists Tour.  The first weekend was successful for me in a lot of ways and it showed that there are lots people willing to help me with something I've tried to get together for many years.  Sandy, Deb, Doug, the Twins, Lisa, Diane, and for everyone who came to the party, and those who bought  paintings thanks again.  Special thanks for my wife Linda,  without her help this would have never happened.  It was all so wonderful.  Here are some photos of my small but full gallery / garage.

A few larger  pieces ready to put up.  The idea was to create some heavy impasto works similar to the ones I grew up loving. These are 18 x 24.  The first and fifth have been sold.

We just had over a week of the best early spring since we've been here.  A little snow last night (all gone now) just a little cooler but sunny and nice today.  I am putting up a couple of still life's from last week

It's a beautiful early spring day in Santa Fe.  Just perfect.  I have been working on different effects and trying to balance compositions by using shapes and colors.  Here is an 18 x 24 that I just finished. It's fun to just put paint on the canvas and see where it ends up.

Four new and reworked 18 x 24 ready for the Santa Fe Artist Tour this June on the weekends of the 17th/18th and the following weekend of the 24th/25th. My studio will be open and there will be a reception on Saturday the 17th following tour hours.
