Fall Winter 2019 Number 8

This, like the other quicker study pieces had sense of it's own that made me not want to add to another to form a larger piece.  16 x 11.75   $275.

Fall Winter 2019  Number 7

Another smaller piece   8.25 x 12     $200.00

Another quick piece.   Acrylic, mixed media on panel 6.5 x 12   $200.00

Fall Winter 2019  Number 5

Another short quick study, very small and like the others like this one, would look great framed up.

7.5 x 13.5   $200.00

Fall Winter 2019   Number 4

This is more like a drawing, very quick and with very little color.  After this I did several more smaller pieces in a similar vain.  32 x 11.75  650.00

Fall Winter 2019

#3  This is the longest painting and is all one piece.  Very light and fast.  53.75 x 11.75  panel  $1500.

Fall Winter Show 2019

#2   This is a little more abstract but has a somewhat lighter touch.  It is two pieces mounted on an other panel.  When I work on these sometimes I find that some pieces just work real well with others so I cut them up and mount them together.  48 x 12   $1500

FALL TO WINTER SHOW Number 1

As part of my studio show we will put the current collection up on the blog.

All these new pieces done in the last 6 months are based on the familiar theme of vessels.  These are similar to last years show but for what I might call a different view.  I have reduced the height on most so as to compress them.  I like the feel of pressure and stress it creates.  Some are more light and airy, and have a feel of spontaneity that shows the quick way in which they were painted.  Some are very heavily handled and show a lot of time and work with many layers.   All of these are acrylic and mixed media on panels, some are joined together, some are mounted to plywood or other pieces to give solid surface.  Most can be framed although they can be hung without framing. I would be happy to give further notes of any of the paintings.  All the sizes are width first and approx.  All the pictures have some of the paintings cropped off so I would be happy to send more pictures.

# 1   This is a heavy handed work and very  abstract.  19.5 x 12  panel mounted on board  $850.00
